Posted May 21, 20159 yr If you belong to several groups on Facebook, notifications can get annoying incredibly fast. When you join a new group on Facebook, you're automatically subscribed to all notifications by default. That means your notifications feed can end up being littered with unnecessary alerts every time someone posts something to that group. That's exactly the problem iMore reader Katelin recently ran into: I am a member of a few groups on Facebook. I find them useful, but I don't need to receive notifications on my iPhone or see information in my news feed every single time someone makes a post. How do I stop this? Tap on More in the bottom navigation. Tap on Account Settings — it's towards the bottom. Tap on Notifications. Tap on Group Posts. Tap on the group name you'd like to edit notifications for.
