Cyclist Will Carling shows off folding charger, possible red-banded Apple Watch

Will Carling, a British cyclist, has shown off his Apple Watch which appears to have a custom sport band, as well as a new wall charger for the U.K.

Carling showed off photos of his new stainless steel Apple Watch just a week before the official launch of the device on April 24. It also looks like his sport band comes in a new color: red. Carling posted a photo of his watch on Twitter:

While this could be the standard pink band, appearing red due to lighting, it's probable that this is, in fact, a red band. Apple often produces Product (RED) versions of their accessories, with portions of those proceeds going to AIDS research. Apple has also given Apple Watches with custom or unreleased bands to other celebrities, such as designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Carling also showed off a new U.K. charing plug, which he said was given to him by Jony Ive. The plug has three prongs which all fold down into the body of the unit, presumably for easy transportation and storage.
