FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted March 30, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted March 30, 2015 We heard a couple of weeks ago from Microsoft's Terry Myerson that Windows 10 would be released this summer, which depending on how you define summer, could be anytime between 21 June and 23 September which are the official dates of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. However, is that a realistic goal and can Microsoft make it? Currently we are on build 10041 of the Windows 10 Technical Preview and this is only the second public test release for 2015 and the fourth overall on the desktop side. When it comes to Windows Phone there has been only one public release for a limited number of handsets. Recent news from Microsoft indicates that list is about to expand to over 20 handsets with a new build expected as early as next week. Based on your own experience with the technical preview of Windows 10 on either platform do you think a summer release is realistic at this point? If you believe there is the potential for Microsoft to hit this summer release then be sure to comment and let us know what that would take on their part.
