I'm unfamiliar with virtual browsing. Are there advantages & disadvantages as opposed to using a standard browser?

I think the biggest advantage to virtual browsing is that it's physically isolated from the computer's operating system.

This prevents web based malware. You can also use it anonymously.

If it's physically isolated from the computer's operating system why don't users use it all the time? It would appear to be a 100% deterrent against malware?

That's a good question, N3. I don't know about 100%.

I don't think anything can protect you 100% against malware.

I can't see a real advantage using Virtual Browsing.:)

If you have W.O.T. and good security software, that should be enough.

Safe Surfing practice is most important.
