Posted March 23, 20159 yr I'm unfamiliar with virtual browsing. Are there advantages & disadvantages as opposed to using a standard browser?
March 23, 20159 yr FPCH Admin I think the biggest advantage to virtual browsing is that it's physically isolated from the computer's operating system. This prevents web based malware. You can also use it anonymously. ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~ ~~Robert McCloskey~~
March 23, 20159 yr Author If it's physically isolated from the computer's operating system why don't users use it all the time? It would appear to be a 100% deterrent against malware?
March 23, 20159 yr FPCH Admin That's a good question, N3. I don't know about 100%. I don't think anything can protect you 100% against malware. ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~ ~~Robert McCloskey~~
