mikehende Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 HP Pavilion Entertainment PC running XP SP3. I select the Disable script debugging Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes and clear the Display a notification about every script error check box but still getting the scripting error: A script on this page is causing IE to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive. No issues with FF or Chrome, any ideas please? Quote
FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted March 12, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted March 12, 2015 Is it on a particular website that they are getting this error? It's usually a problem with the site itself. There is a Microsoft Fixit tool for this problem, Mike. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/175500#FixItForMeAlways 1 Quote ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~ ~~Robert McCloskey~~
mikehende Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 No it wasn't site specific which was what I had originally thought but now all of a sudden I am not seeing the errors anymore, maybe it just took a while for the the debugging options to take effect. Anyway, thanks for the that link and option, I will refer to it next time. 1 Quote

Ratchet Infotech Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 To improve this error you can tell you explorer to avoid these error when this error occur..... Open the explorer, in top menu click the tools and then internet option, click on advance tab & find where "Disable script Debugging" and check the box. Now, Find where “Display a notification about every script error” and untick the box beside it. Quote
