Hi This started on 2/22/2015. When I restart my PC, I got a pop up saying !

Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center Stopped Working. Also shows in my Reliability Monitor. I have uninstalled version 2.2.173.0 and reinstalled it on W7 as was suggested. I still get the pop up after restarting. Mouse and Keyboard are both working. I have a Toshiba lap top. My mouse is a Logitech wireless mouse. I have changed USB ports. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I still get the pop up. I don't want to restore to a earlier time, unless I have to. Could this be a windows up date problem?

Thank you!! All suggestions are appreciated. I don't have a clue what to do!!

The only thing I see before this problem started is a driver was installed on a USB Mass Storage Device.

I did not install that driver.

Hi Dougie! There are a lot of errors in the event viewer. I've working on this problem all day. The event viewer shows the same thing in my attachment above! I don't have a clue! I have never heard of this program. It shows up in Add and remove. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Didn't help!!

I would uninstall the drivers in question in Device Manager, reboot and let Windows find the drivers.

I have never manually installed keyboard and mouse drivers in my life.

Try changing the port as well.

I gave up on Microsoft keyboards and mice some years ago.

My 4 computers all run Logitech Keyboards and mice.

Hi Dougie! My mouse is Logitech. I uninstalled and rebooted. I have decided I don't need that program. I uninstalled it.

My KB and mouse are working just fine. The Hell with it. I don't even know what it does. All my devices are working and there are no yellow marks in devise manager! The only thing I have done was uninstall REVO and Install Wise Uninstaller. I don't think I need the damn software.

I can't even Google and find out what it does???

Thanks for your help Mate!!

PS I don't have a Microsoft Mouse or a Microsoft Keyboard!!

Your Welcome.:)

Just came back to me. When I was using those humongous Microsoft Keyboards I was having driver popups all the time.

I uninstalled the software.

That's why I changed to Logitech.

PS. I don't have Revo anymore. Wise uninstaller is working fine for me.

good for you donetao i would of uninstalled it also

since most mouse's come as a plug and play device's and i doin't need the added features i would not use Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center

or Logitec Setpoint i'v had nothing but trouble with both

Mouse and Keyboard Center

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/downloads/mouse-keyboard-center

SetPoint Software

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/articles/11650

i have a $85 Razer gaming mouse and have to deal with a program called Razer Synapse configurator that's sort of a pain and that's bad enough

:)

Sounds like you had a program for mouse and keyboard installed for hardware you didn't have. If I were you I would uninstall any Microsoft mouse and keyboard program and any Logitech mouse software as well. None of it is necessary unless you have a keyboard with power keys and use them. Windows has had all you need for mouse drivers since Windows 3.1 already in Windows and software mouse and keyboard programs do nothing but create problems and always have. If you are looking for mouse functions other than basics there is a free program called "Flywheel" that will add any functionality you need without screwing up Windows as mouse and keyboard software always do.
