The VisionTek Wallet Drive makes adding extra storage more stylish

Mac owners who want some style to go along with a portable data storage and backup solution might want to look into the newly launched VisionTek Wallet Drive. The accessory can hold any 2.5" 7mm or 9mm SATA I/II/III hard drive or SDD inside its tray, but it is hidden inside a leather cover that look much like an ordinary wallet.

The VisionTek Wallet Drive is priced at $19.99 and is clearly aimed at folks who want to keep their extra storage inside something besides a plastic or aluminium enclosure. The company says:

The drive tray inside is hot-swappable, which means hard drives and SSDs can slide in without any tools. The Wallet Drive can then be connected to a Mac with its included 7-inch USB 3.0/2.0 cable, and VisionTek claims that it can handle data transfer speeds of up to 600MB/s for those of you who need to move your iTunes library quickly.
