Google Play Music for iOS has been updated, and is available for the iPad for the first time. On both the iPhone and the iPad, the app has received some updates to its Material Design interface.

While Material Design has been a part of Google Play Music for a little while, with this update certain elements of that look have been tweaked. Artist and album pages have been revamped, adding new descriptions for their subjects. The now playing screen has been updated to be more immersive, and other small visual changes have been made throughout the app.

There have also been improvements to streaming and automatic caching. Music playback should be faster and more reliable from now on.

You can download Google Play Music for iPhone and iPad from the App Store right now.
