mikehende Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Anyone know how to have a folder's size displayed next to the folder's name in explorer please? Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted February 13, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted February 13, 2015 Good question. I know drives show size so there should be a way to shw the size of folders without having to right click and select properties to see the size. Off to do some research. mikehende Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 I know a guy who has this setup somehow, waiting on him to advise. Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted February 13, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted February 13, 2015 As far as I can tell the only way to do this with software. Microsoft removed the ability to show folder size after Windows XP. Every place I checked had a link to the same software. Try this and see if it does what you want. http://www.mindgems.com/products/Folder-Size/Folder-Size.html Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
mikehende Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 Thanks but If I have to use a 3rd party software then I am thinking might just be easier to use the folder properties. Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted February 13, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted February 13, 2015 When you hover over a folder it will give you the size I think. If not properties is the way to go. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
mikehende Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 Windows 7 does that natively, whenever I hover over any folder I see the size, this works only when it's a smaller size. Quote
