GimboV Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Has anyone used this function of WIn 8. This can be used in conjunction with system file checker. From what I am understanding if sfc.exe cannot repair a corrupt file this command can be used to restore the file. I.E. system file checker finds a corrupt file but cannot repair it, run this function and it will restore the corrupt file. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824869.aspx 1 Quote http://www.extremetechsupport.com/data/MetaMirrorCache/5569ad19ed3164831fb4dda6815a627f.png']http://www.extremetechsupport.com/data/MetaMirrorCache/5569ad19ed3164831fb4dda6815a627f.png[/url]
FPCH Admin AWS Posted February 8, 2015 FPCH Admin Posted February 8, 2015 The only time I've used dism was to get information about an ISO. I didn't know you could use it to repair images. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
