Hi I was wondering if there is a special section where we can suggest our favorite freeware, that we use to maintain our computers. I don't have a lot of them, but the ones I use really help me keep a healthy PC.

I'm sorry Donetao but I had to remove CCleaner because it has a registry cleaner with it and we don't recommend registry cleaners.

 

I've used the rest of the programs that you list.

The software that I use the most from your list is Who Crashed, Search Everything, Revo and Belarc.

My two favorites are Search Everything and Revo.

Not yet, but, we will soon. I'm working on something else right now. Once that is done I'll be adding a resources section for adding those.

Hi friend! Just don't use the registry cleaner. I don't use registry cleaners either. They cause more harm than any good they can do.

CCleaner has some great tools. Been around for a very long time. Just don't use that feature in CCleaner;);)

I clean my own registry. I don't trust any snake oil programs to clean it.

I never recommend Ccleaner, there is no reason to clean a hard drive anyway. BTW I don't know if you know this but the more on the drive, the faster it moved. If you have to do that and again few drives today are more than 20% full anyway. I suggest TFC cleaner or ATF Cleaner.

Yeah the thing is they are safe and there is nothing to disable. BTW do not worry about ATF not being for Windows 7 or 8 it works just fine with all of the Windows versions.
