anthony.zschusschen Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 After having joined a Windows XP client on my Server 2008 Domain, I noticed that the Group policies had not been applied to this profile. In my event viewer> Application Log I get an error saying "Source: Userenv - Evet ID: 1054 - Description: Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. (An unexpected network error occured) Group Policy processing aborted. Now I noticed that my Vista clients are all working correctly, and my server 2008 Event Viewer does not show any errors. How can I resolve this error so I can make use of the Group policies? Many thanks in advance, Anthony Zschusschen Network administrator Fernandes Concern Beheer, Paramaribo, Suriname E-mail: a.zschusschen@fernandesconcern.com mobile: (597) 08110550 Quote
