I've used in the past. If you want to stay anonymous on the internet it's a good way to do it.

When I used Tor it was painfully slow but it does keep you anonymous.

I'm presently using "Start Page" which "they" claim is the world's most private search engine.....https://startpage.com/eng/

N3 and I were talking the other day on Paltalk and he also uses Duck Duck Go as a searchg engine and I used that for a while also and liked it as I felt it was cleaner than Google. My problem with most of the other search engines is they just don't find the breadth of things that Google does and I always wind up going back.

Rich........I presently do not use "Duck Duck GO" as my search engine! I'm considering it for future use. I'm using "Start Page" as my search engine. I also use "Million Short" as a search engine....

I tried Start Page and it's pretty good. Much better than Bing or Yahoo but not quite as good as Google.

I know that N3, I was just mentioning that you reminded me of that one when we were chatting the other day.

Cindy....In reference to "MillionShort"....I always "remove the top million sites from results". By doing this i can fine tune my search & many times will find some information that other search engines i use will not. Be advised that on occasion "MillionShort" will be down for maintenance which can be aggravating.
