Guest Joseph Keller Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) Apple has released the latest App Store distribution numbers, which give a breakdown of what percentage of devices are using which version of iOS, and iOS 8 has climbed a bit in the past few weeks. Versions of Apple's latest major release now stand at 68% of total iOS installations as of Jan. 5, 2015. iOS 7 now stands at 29%, with iOS 6 and earlier holding a total of 4% of installs. It seems that iOS 7 is most affected by iOS 8's continued growth, with iOS 6 and earlier remaining steady. When last we checked iOS 7 was hovering around 33% of installs, with iOS 8 capturing 63%.
