Guest Allyson Kazmucha Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 If you use Passbook on a regular basis to store things such as boarding passes, your hotel reservation, or any other kind of information, there are likely times when you want to easily share that information with someone else. Whether that's sending an Airbnb reservation with someone else traveling with you, movie tickets, or another kind of pass, Passbook lets you share cards in just a few taps! Before sending someone a card, remember that whatever you share on a Passbook card can be used by someone else. In other words, don't share anything you don't want someone else using. For example, you probably don't want to share your Starbucks card unless you want someone else to be able to use your credit. I generally prefer sharing things like hotel or flight reservations, or movie tickets for a group — things that make sense to share on a short-term basis. Note: Sharing is limited to passes only; you can't share any credit cards you have set up to use Apple Pay, for obvious security reasons. How to share a Passbook card with someone else from your iPhone Launch the Passbook app on your iPhone. Tap the pass you'd like to share. Tap on the Share button in the lower left corner.
