The Hunger Games, Mockingjay Part 1 hits theaters today_. It's the first part of the finale of the The Hunger Games saga, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and more. Based on the enormously popular young adult sci-fi book series, this is the third of four planned Hunger Games movies, with the finale planned for a release in late 2015. The story follows the travails of Katniss Everdeen, a young woman in a dystopian future where a group of wealthy elites control the population using sadistic battles to the death. Everdeen becomes the central figure in a rebellion against the leaders of Panem.
