Disney will be bringing their hit console game Disney Infinity 2.0 to mobile devices for the first time before the end of 2014, and the company said it used Apple's new Metal graphics API to help create the port.

During a presentation of Disney's upcoming mobile app and website plans on Friday, the company said that the use of Metal allowed for Disney Infinity 2.0 to have near-console level graphics on mobile devices. It will also have multiplayer features, which is something that was not part of the first Disney Infinity mobile game. Finally, Disney Infinity 2.0 will be released for the iPhone for the first time as well as the iPad.

Some other Disney mobile and web plans that were announced on Friday include a rebranding of the SportsCenter app to ESPN and a relaunch of the ESPN.com site on April 1, 2015.
