11cf18a5610a7271a46fdb6d65023f9e.jpg It looks like things are about to speed up for our friends in the North—on Rogers at least. The Canadian carrier announced today that it has flipped the switch on LTE-Advanced in several markets throughout the country. Perhaps even better, Rogers is doing all of this on the 700 MHz spectrum, which should allow for greater penetration inside of buildings.

Rogers stated that LTE-Advanced has gone live in the following 12 cities:

  • Vancouver
  • Edmonton
  • Calgary
  • Windsor
  • London
  • Hamilton
  • Toronto
  • Kingston
  • Moncton
  • Fredericton
  • Halifax
  • Saint John

Are you a Rogers customer in one of these markets? Let us know what you think of this rollout in the comments below.
