Adobe has released three new apps as part of their new Creative Cloud Capture platform. The CC Capture apps are all about creating new elements to use in Adobe's Creative Cloud apps such as Photoshop and Illustrator. The three apps are Brush, Shape, and Color.

Brush lets you create new brushes for painting in Creative Cloud applications. You can make a brush from anything, including a photograph imported from your camera, Camera Roll, or Creative Cloud. You can also choose how guided you want your creation experience to be, an get a live preview of your brush as you make it.

With Shape, you can make new shapes. As with Brush, you can create new shapes in the app using any sort of image, like a picture that you take or something from your sketchbook. You can use the included tools to refine shapes to get them exactly how you want. Shape requires an iPhone 5 or iPad 3 in order to use the app.

Color is a rebranded app, formerly called Kuler. Color lets you create and save new color libraries so that you have exactly the colors that you want and need on hand when using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

All three apps require at least a free Creative Cloud, which will let you access your creations in any Adobe CC app. The apps are free, though each allows you to sign up for and purchase a subscription to Creative Cloud with 20GB of storage.

The apps are available to download from the App Store for iPhone and iPad right now.
