Posted September 23, 201410 yr Apple recently released iOS 8 and now the company has shared some details on just how the update is performing with regards to platform penetration. According to data from Apple, 46 percent of consumers have updated to iOS 8. As of September 21, while iOS 8 sits comfortably on 46 percent, iOS 7 still rules the land on 49 percent and 5 percent of consumers are on older versions of the operating system.
