Storehouse, the acclaimed multimedia creation app for the iPad, has now been updated to not only support iOS 8 but allows access to iPhone owners for the first time.

 

 

The Storehouse app itself allows its users to combine images, videos and text to create multimedia "stories" that can be shared with friends on embedded on a website or blog. Here's the change log for the new version:

 

  • Now available for iPhone and iPad
  • Support for photo extensions in iOS 8
  • Add #hashtags to your stories and search for #hashtags from the community
  • Find friends from Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
  • New Explore section featuring top categories and trending #hashtags
  • Republish your favorite stories to your followers
