Apple announced that iOS 8 will be available for everyone starting September 17, but for those on the beta track the gold master should be available shortly (edit — it's live now). The update will be available starting now through the Apple Developer Portal.

 

 

A gold master is the last hurrah of the beta cycle, and unless any show-stopping bugs are found at the last minute should be identical to the final release. If you're on the beta track, be sure to be on the lookout for this one.
