Guest Joseph Keller Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 It looks like Microsoft could support share extensions in its OneNote app after the release of iOS 8. The extension would allow users to save websites, attachments, and more to their OneNote notebook using the standard iOS share sheet. An apparently leaked Microsoft video details the extension, which would be available to anyone who has the OneNote app installed on a device running iOS 8. From MacRumors: As demoed in the video above, a OneNote button in Safari (accessed via the share sheet) will let users quickly clip articles and information from the web, automatically inserting content into the OneNote app. The OneNote Share Extension will also allow users to export files to OneDrive, Microsoft's cloud storage service, and it's also possible to save photos from the device's camera roll to the app. For more on share extensions, be sure to check out our overview. Will you be glad to see Microsoft support share extensions in iOS 8? Leave your thoughts in the comments. Source: MacRumors Continue reading... Quote
