Guest Rich Edmonds Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Apple's September event is only a few days away, but that hasn't halted the rumor mill or speculation from seeping through. Hit-and-miss analyst — which is better than most — Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI securities is now claiming there will be two sizes of iWatch at Tuesday's event, but also a 128GB iPhone 6, and a golden, Touch ID equipped iPad Air. Apple usually saves new iPads for a second event in October, so what could make this year different? According to Apple Insider, who received a copy of the note, the lack of an external redesign. However, Kuo does anticipate: —the next iPad Air will have an anti-reflective screen coating, a full-lamination touch panel, a new gold-colored casing, and a next-generation A8 processor. For the iPhone 6, Apple Insider relays: Apple's "iPhone 6" will not feature a scratch-resistant sapphire screen cover, but both the 4.7- and 5.5-inch versions will come with new higher-capacity options of 128 gigabytes of storage, a barometric pressure sensor, and a programmable power button, according to one well-connected insider. Again, analysts chase supply chain data, and we are not their clients, so keep all that in mind. That being said, are you ready for a new gold iPad Air, or an iWatch in two-sizes? Continue reading...
