You must have been reading my mind, Rich. I just got two notebooks in this morning and they both have bad hard drives. Thanks!

Yeah that's the lowest I have seen even though they are coming down and these drives are decent as well.

My wholesaler had 3.5" drives for $42.99 but I could not put that up because you had to be a member but I have been

building with these for a while now. WD are still the best though but they only have 2 year warranty now also.

Right as do the Raptors, the only drives I used for me for years until I got hooked on Ssd drives. I have never really seen any wear difference in any of the more expensive labels though as at some point or another I have used them all. Kind of like the race for 64 meg cache drives even though I can't see where the original 2 meg cache were any slower.
