N3 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 I downloaded java for firefox. When i tried downloading java for ie it states it's already downloaded. Is one download sufficient for both? Quote
FPCH Admin allheart55 Cindy E Posted August 21, 2014 FPCH Admin Posted August 21, 2014 Yes, you only need to download it once, N3. Quote ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~ ~~Robert McCloskey~~

Rich-M Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Actually can we be more specific here. You have to download java specifically for Firefox and that will take care of IE. However if you only download it in IE, then you also have to do it for Firefox (Chrome does it automatically on install of Chrome and then updates it itself.) Ther same is true for Adobe Flash Player exvcept I think Chrome also does it's own updates as well. Quote
N3 Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 A little while ago i did download it for firefox Quote
Rich-M Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Didn't you say in 1 thread you had uninstalled it? Quote
N3 Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 Yes, i did uninstall it thinking it may have been the cause of my computer's problems. Afterwards i reinstalled it. Quote
