That rebate on the PNY drive finally is accepted as I mailed copies of everything all over again and finally had it approved....sometimes I really think they just are not worth the time and effort, problem is the markup on hardware is so slight that you really have to play their game to come out ahead!

I hear you. I've about given up on rebates. I had to fight for a $100.00 rebate on a laptop for almost 6 months before it was finally approved.

I have a new attitude. If I would not buy it without the rebate, then the rebate is the entire reason for the sale then I don't buy it at all.
I agree Rich, most rebates are scams they play the odds that you won't file, or you won't file in time (MSI), or you will make a mistake in filing. The only ones that honor most rebates are the ones that are the most visible, and the most publicly visible. CEO's (if you can call them that thesedays) don't like negative publicity in the modern era of tech. So, for instance eVGA usually honor all warranties because they don't hide behind "chintzy" rebate companies that are operating a scam. Don't pick any product that has more than a $10.00 rebate that's my motto.
