Posted August 16, 201410 yr Hi all, I have a silly question but since I always seem to have problems with my computer, it makes me wonder. Is it safe to actively use your computer while it's installing Windows updates? What about when you are running an antivirus scan?

August 22, 201410 yr I agree with Rich, it's usually safe. Consider it like a stress test. When it asks you to reboot with updates be sure to exit out of any programs you were using.
