Posted August 16, 201410 yr Want to get into the custom build business, this kit has it all except Windows and if you buy that carefully on eBay add another $65 for that. These kits are usually riddled with junk but this board has 4 memory slots and decent onboard video and the processor is no slouch either. Easy client $599 retail sale, I do it all day long. Cost $249 after $40 rebate http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=8986989&sku=B69-00141&SRCCODE=WEBBP2076&cm_lm=rich@pcman1.com&cm_mmc=email-_-Retro-_-WEBBP2076-_-tigeremail2076&utm_source=EML&utm_medium=main&utm_campaign=WEBBP2076
August 16, 201410 yr FPCH Admin That's a pretty good deal. I haven't used AMD for a while so I just might buy one to check them out again. Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
August 16, 201410 yr Author Well I started Cindy on AMD then a few years ago I went back to Intel and honestly I just haven't been happy with both units the last of which the board completely died on me, the one I had the thread on here. I feel very comfortable back on AMD and that is a decent cpu and board which I find surprising in a kit but of course if I were you double the ram to utilize dual channel ram. That is one major flaw in almost every deal I see.
