Posted July 22, 201410 yr FPCH Admin Microsoft Bing's daily updated photo backgrounds for the search engine are cool and popular. You can now browse and download all the wallpapers in Bing's history at the official Homepage Gallery, all for free. Recent backgrounds are displayed in a chronological thumbnailed gallery, which you can also sort by different filters such as: Categories: Travel, Nature, Animal, Work/Culture, Space, Science Tags: Modern Structure, Old Structure, Mammals, Plant/Tree, Body of Water, Bird Holidays: Christmas, 4th of July, Cinco de Mayo, Arbor Day, Memorial Day, Earth Day Colors: (includes a color bar) Places: (includes a country list) The gallery also has a wallpaper pack of some of the Bing team's favorites. Bing's photographs have been a particular hit, enough that you might want to use them as auto-updating desktop wallpapers or even rotating Google backgrounds. July 23, 201410 yr Yeah but I imagine you have to use Bing to have this and I stamp that useless thing out like a bug wherever I see it!
July 23, 201410 yr Author FPCH Admin No, you actually don't, Rich. I have no use for bing search either. ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~~~Robert McCloskey~~
August 10, 201410 yr Oh wait. I use Bing. Why? Because it's not google lol. Actually I use both, but thank you Cindy for the post and yeah Bing has some absolutely super classy high quality images in the wallpaper gallery.
August 10, 201410 yr Really? I have tried Bing now and then when I didn't realize it had usurped my choice namely Google and known right away it sucks as a search source. When I first started with Pale Moon browser I tried "DuckDuckGo" and finally gave up because I wasn't seeing the full range of choices, same as Bing.
August 10, 201410 yr Author FPCH Admin I never find anything I'm looking for using Bing. ~I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.~~~Robert McCloskey~~
August 10, 201410 yr Yeah I really do not understand why Google is so much better than any of the others but the difference is night and day and for me always has been.
August 10, 201410 yr FPCH Admin The only thing I like about Bing is the maps. I think they are the best. Google changed theirs and it just isn't very good. Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
August 10, 201410 yr Excellent point Bob I had forgotten about that one. I really don't know about the desktop wallpaper because I still use Webshots Desktop which has about 3 thousand pro photographs in it!

August 11, 201410 yr You could have something there....I was fine with "DuckDuckGo" until I was looking for specific items at a price.
