If you take a ton of photos and videos on your iPhone or iPad, you may start finding it hard to find something you want to show someone quickly. Sifting through thousands of photos can get irritating after a while. This is exactly why the Photos app for iPhone and iPad lets you easily sort and organize your photos into albums. So next time you need to find a photo, you'll know exactly where it's at!

How to organize and sort your photos into albums with the Photos app for iPhone and iPad

  1. Launch the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap on Albums in the bottom navigation if you aren't there already.
  3. Tap on the plus sign in the upper left hand corner to create a new album.
  4. Name the album and then tap Save.
  5. Tap on all the photos you'd like to add to that album. You'll always be able to add more later.
  6. Tap on Save in the upper right hand corner.
  7. Your new album should now appear in the Album tab of the photos tab.

When you're ready to add more photos to an album from your Camera Roll, just go to the album you created and tap Select in the upper right hand corner and then Add at the bottom. Add any new photos and you're done!
