How to share videos on your iPhone or iPad

Most of the reason we take videos is to be able to share them with friends and family. Whether you just want to send a video via email or text message, or want to upload it to YouTube for everyone in the world to see, your iPhone or iPad has all the tools you need built right into the Photos app!

 

How to share videos from an iPhone or iPad

 

1. Launch the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad.
   
2. Tap on the video you'd like to share.
   
3. Tap on the Share button in the bottom left hand corner.
   
4. Tap on the method you'd like to use to share your video. In this example, I'll choose iMessage.
   
5. Fill out any info or type a message if necessary and then tap Send — or in some cases Upload or Publish if you're sharing to a service like YouTube.
