Does anyone know for sure which if any version of Acronis True Image works with Windows 7 64-bit, not just to CREATE images but to reliably RESTORE them? I see making the backup isn't the issue but restoring often is.

I have had no issue restoring backups using TI 2012 with Windows 7 64 bit.

I would stay away from TI 2013, I have had issues with restoring.

I had all kinds of issues with versions of Acronis 2013 that were supposed to work with Windows 8 and would never recommend it. 2012 was fine with Windows 7.

hello I used acronis that came with my PC it worked good I think it was the 2012 version full. I did not try 2013 version but the 2012 seem to work great with windows 7 64 bit I have.

I upgraded to the latest version 2014 yesterday (Acronis sent me an email coupon to upgrade for only $10). and it worked great on Win7-64. I took the backup file and restored it as a local VMware image, no problem.
