I have installed windows 7 on an older box. Now I'm in the process of doing updates. I have run into a few problems installing earlier updates but have worked past those until now. The two updates that have been reinstalling to no avail are :

1) Update for Windows 7 (KB2808679) Error details: Code 80246007

2) Update for Windows 7 (KB2800095) Error details: Code 800B0100

Have you tried running the System Update Readiness tool?
