Posted September 13, 200717 yr I have a shortcut of "Local Area Network" on my desktop. For unknown reason, there is a yellow exclamation mark adjacent to it. On the other hand, I am able to access internet via ADSL modem that make use of network cable. I have tried to repair it but still has the same symbol. I have restarted the XP machine as well. Your advice is sought Peter
