Posted September 11, 200717 yr We have a modem dial-up connection to an external customer that remains stuck in the 'disconnecting' state after a dial-up session. To get around this I created a second connection to the same number which is fine until I attempt to disconnect that new connection - it then goes into the disconnecting 'state' and the original connection then reverts to the good 'disconnected' state. Our automated apps depend on a named dial-up connection so right now I'm doing a lot of connection renaming just to keep the apps happy. Any ideas on what the problem may be and also how do you purge dial-ups that are in the disconnecting state (if possible)? BTW - This connection worked fine until 10 days ago. Thanks. -- Rick
