Access to CRM from outside the domain

Is is possible to get to a windows 2000 CRM from a system outside the

domain?

When I get to the domain controller CRM url with IE, iaam asked for the

user and password. I introduce domain\username and password or

username@domain and password of an administrative user in the domain

with no luck.

what is the problem?
