Posted October 29, 200717 yr Using Device Manager, and setting the "show hidden devices" option from the view menu, you can see the NVIDIA nForce AGP Bus Filter under "Non-Plug and Play drivers". The driver file is C:\Windows\System32\drivers\nv_agp.sys. Right-click on the driver file and select delete. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User --------------------------------------------------------------- "John Aldrich" <maxxexcaliber@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1193686028.518254.210750@e34g2000pro.googlegroups.com... I've got a couple PCs I need to upgrade to XP Pro, but I get an error during the install process that I have an incompatible nVidia AGP filter installed and I need to update it. Only problem is that these computers have INTEL graphics, not nVidia. I have updated the Intel graphics driver and it doesn't help. I don't see anything in the add/remove programs about nVidia. These are both HP Pavilion PCs. I know the latest one I tried to work on is a Pavilion 532W. I have a 100% legit copy of the XP Pro install CD, so I know that isn't the problem. Any suggestions? How do I get it to perform the upgrade? I'm upgrading from XP Home. I have also verified that the only video is the on-board Intel chipset.
