Posted October 26, 200717 yr I use Windows Automatic Update to install my updates. Just recently, it shows to update to Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable (v2). I have it update but it says that it could not be installed. I tried going to Microsoft's website to download it myself, and do both "Run" and "Save" but I still get an error that states it could not be installed. Then it proceeds to uninstall that package and reboot my computer. I've searched on MS's website and other sites on the internet, no such luck. Anyone else ran into this problem and how can I fix this?
