USB Error 10

When I start my Windows XP Professional x64 I have no access to any USB

devices. In system>Hardware>Device Manager it shows my Standard OpenHCD USB

Host Controller has an Error 10. If I uninstall it and then run the 'Add New

hardware' wizard it detects it and works fine but upon restarting the

machine it has the same problem again. I have tried updating the driver but

to no avail as well as physically unplugging the connections from the

motherboard and rebooting etc. Help please,
