Volume Shadow Copy -- Client Side API

Hi

I am in the process of updating/migrating our home brew Document

management system from netware to microsoft. In the process I we

( the development team) realized that microsoft has a technology that

would provide a feature similar to novell's "salvage file" feature.

This is a huge part of our application and is a major plus for our end

users.

My question is, is there any client side api for returning the

"previous versions" of a file so that I can list them within our

application? i'm looking for functionality that is similar to the

"previous version" tab that is available through the client side file

properties dialog.
