Guest ykffc Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 If a folder in the fileserver \\serername\aaa is made available offline. If the server is offline, I assume the user can continue to write to his/her offline cache copy. What if the server is running and availabe? By by opening a file (an Excel file, for example) and if the user makes changes to the file, will the system update the Client copy or the copy in the network drive first ? Although I know eventually the two copies would be the same after synchroniztation, but can we control whether to update the client copy or the server copy when the server is online? Quote
