Guest Denali Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I have downloaded the above update along with Windows Media Player Edition 11 per Windows Update Optional Site Recommendation. Videos freeze up after playing one video and system crashes and becomes unresponsive. I can get out only by Ctrl Alt Del. I went back to Control Panel and removed the update rollup KN925766 and went back to my previous version (Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Addition 2005). No more problems with videos. When I tried to to download again KB925766, the same problem occurred again and therefore I went back and removed the KB925766, and no more problem. Except, I get a one time message that says "Some of the files needed to play radio or video are missing or corrupt. Media Center component registration may have failed." Any suggestions for the above issues and how to take care of them???? -- denali Quote
