checkdisk

[Guest niall]

this is happening on other computer(laptop)and goes as follows

blue screen and on rebooting checkdisk kicks in and checks files

which are ok BUT when checking indexes it shows zero progres eventho there is

strong disk activity

After half an hour with zero progress still showing i close down and

reboot and this time ignore checkdisk and get XP up and running and it

appears to be ok

Now EVERY time i reboot i have to ignore checkdisk to get windows so

what is going on????!!!! and can it be repaired
