Guest Sean Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Version of Windows used: Windows XP Tablet PC Edition (likely XP Pro + SP2) Whenever I try to uninstall the Microsoft Application Compatibility toolkit, I get an error as such: Window title: "MSI20.tmp - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services" Window message: Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process id=0xf9c (3996), Thread id=0xf80 (3968) Click OK to terminate the application. Click CANCEL to debug the application. So I click OK, which brings up another error message: Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Then the uninstall fails. All I wish to do is uninstall ACT. How would I do so? Quote
