Guest Elephant Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I'm running Windows XP home edition SP2. I rarely use Windows Media Player as I have other players for playing MP3 files. The other day, I opened the Windows player to play a certain file. I clicked on the library tab and to my surprise, it was loaded with thousands of files! Files that I had never opened with Windows Media Player. My question is, why are they showing up in the library, and, how do I get rid of all of them? I don't have a "My Music" folder......don't need it, deleted it. I checked the properties of some of the files. They pointed to a folder that doesn't exist. Quote
