Good day

hope someone can help

currently i had problem going into my other drive using the normal method

(which is double click in My computer window.) it will prompt me access

denied.

But i can go into the drive by doing a right click of the drive and selected

open manually.

this problem only happen in my drive D, E, F, G ( My C and D share the same

harddisk and my F and G share another harddisk and my E is an external

harddisk)

abit of the history :

I had just upgrade a second hand PC and had just formatted the C drive

yesterday, and had install it with Microsoft Window XP Pro version 2002

service pack 2

My system run on a AMD athlon xp 2400+ 2 GHZ with a 1.50 GB of Ram.

After installing the window XP and all the drivers, i also installed the AVG

free anti-spyware, after installing i do a scan for the PC and all the drive

and it discover the a number of the cftmon.exe file had infected with the

trojan.VB.aqt and thus i do a clean using the AVG after which i install the

spybot S & D and do another scan and found nothing and now had just uninstall

the spybot S & D.

after restarting my computer to finish up with all the installing, i try to

go into my other drive and it prompt me 'ACCESS DENIED' even though it prompt

me access denied i still can access by doing a single right click of the

mouse and do a manual select either by clicking "open" or "explore" tab and i

am able to go in.

Is there any method to repair this problem making it go back to normal ??

(going into the other drive by using double clicking the drive icon)

Hope someone can help

thanks
