Hello,

Sorry to have to ask but I wonder if someone can help.

I am trying to connect to a Windows Server 2003 via

either Windows XP Home or Windows 2000 Professional.

I have configured the client with PPTP.

I can connect to the server ok and using the \\server command can view all

of the servers resources.

What I cannot do is to login to the roaming profile and

all I get is the local profile.

I have made the changes as suggested by Microsoft

regarding potential slow connections but to no avail.

I have also tried logging in using the Windows 2000 Professional "Login

using Dial up" but again, it only shows

the local profile.

How do I login to my roaming profile at work?

Also, how would I do this in XP as I have no way of initiating the VPN

dialup prior to login?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Kind regards

Paul
