why my non-paged pool size doesn't take effect

i want to increase the non-paged pool size by editting my registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager

\Memory Management\NonPagedPoolSize

the default is 0, now the value is 0xbebc200,and i restart my computer

many times,

but it doens't take effect,what's the matter about my os?
