Posted October 5, 200717 yr I have had to reformat my hard disk on a COMPAQ notebook. All went well incl reinstallation of windows XP and the various updates to bring it to latest version. Sunddenly, after a few days working, when I log out ; I am getting a message at bottom left of screen "turn off broken often" rather than usual usual "switch off computer". Any one any advice ?
